The civil defense teams and the concerned authorities concerned with confronting the torrents in the Al-Darb governorate, north of the Jazan region, began their work to drain the torrential waters that hit the villages of Wadi Reem, Wadi Beidh and Wadi Samra, and moved the residents to the shelters.
And circulating videos documented torrential waters that storm homes and roads, and cause vehicles to be detained in the streets.
The media center of Al-Darb Governorate stated that the concerned authorities worked to close the roads leading to the valleys and reefs, to drain the water that had been exposed to some dwellings near the valleys, to ensure the safety of their residents, and to transfer them to the shelters designated for them.
It is noteworthy that the National Center of Meteorology warned of the continuation of thunderstorms, from medium to heavy, leading to torrential rains in a number of areas, including Jizan.
