During the past 24 hours, the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus in the Kingdom showed a new jump in infections to exceed a thousand cases, while critical cases decreased significantly, and cases of recovery and deaths stabilized.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 1,029 new cases of corona were recorded, which is the highest daily toll since February 20, 2022, as infections continue to rise steadily since the beginning of last May.
Critical cases decreased clearly for the second day in a row, as 7 intensive care cases left, bringing the total of critical cases to 92.
On the other hand, deaths have witnessed usual stability, as 3 deaths were recorded as a result of Covid 19, bringing the total deaths to 9,163. Thus, deaths remain at the low rates that began to be recorded since the beginning of October 2021.
Recovery cases also stabilized, as 616 patients recovered from the virus, but the rate of recovery remained lower than new infections for the tenth consecutive day. This brings the total of those recovering from Corona to 756,871 out of 774,250 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
