Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, professor and scientist for carcinogenesis research, confirmed that global statistics showed that smoking is still the first cause of cancer by 33%, followed by alcohol and other factors.
He said that 35% of deaths related to cancer were due to bad food, 30% due to smoking, 10% due to infections and 7% due to diseases resulting from wrong sexual behaviors.
Al-Khudairi explained that the third cause of death around the world (Diet) is food or dietary pattern, or harmful or carcinogenic foods or causing some chronic diseases, in addition to malnutrition.
He pointed out that alcohol and alcohol destroy the liver and kidneys, cause cirrhosis of the liver, and cause 700,000 cases of cancer annually, of which more than 60% are cancerous and cirrhotic.
