A consultant cardiologist and catheter, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, warned of the dangers of sleeping less than 6 hours a day.
Al-Nimr explained in a tweet via his Twitter account that these risks include increased obesity, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and an increased risk of diabetes, in addition to doubling the occurrence of heart and brain strokes.
He pointed out that the psychological state plays a role in the incidence of diabetes, pressure, cholesterol and heart disease, so attention must be paid to the mental and physical health of heart patients and the elderly together.
