Infectious disease consultant Dr. Nizar Bahabri said that this year, the new treatment will be available in the Kingdom for patients with acquired immunodeficiency virus (AIDS).
Bahabri explained in his statement to:News 24“The new treatment is an injection that is given to the patient every two months, and this treatment comes as an alternative to the capsules that are given to each patient and used on a daily basis.
Bahabri added that this treatment was recently discovered and that it has been approved by many food and drug authorities around the world, and it is an effective treatment with which a person with AIDS can lead his life normally.
