News 24 | Al-Shoura calls for health to settle the vaccine industry and Saudization of health jobs

Today (Monday), the Shura Council called on the Ministry of Health to localize the vaccine industry, and to study increasing the number of health centers in the central area around the Prophet’s Mosque.

The Council stressed in its nineteenth regular session for the second year of the eighth session via video conference, chaired by the Vice-President of the Council, Mishaal Al-Salami, in a decision on the Ministry of Health, the necessity of applying urgent medical care on highways with a correct strategy, taking into account the basic and necessary needs to maintain patient safety.

The council emphasized the ministry’s Saudization of health jobs and the provision of manpower in the internal and external sectors, taking into account the appropriate distribution of hospitals and health centers, especially peripheral areas, and providing legal support to the ministry’s institutions and health practitioners according to the best legal and medical practices in the world.

He called on the ministry to work with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties to approve the Saudi specialty certificate at the regional and international levels, and to work on localizing the vaccine industry in the Kingdom and achieving self-sufficiency in it, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

He called for the development of community partnerships to empower community members in the process of health promotion at the level of hospitals, primary health centers “health care” and health clusters (strategic plans) and unifying the method and method of implementing health programs and initiatives in primary health care centers.

He also called on the Ministry of Health to study increasing the number of health centers in the central region around the Prophet’s Mosque, an additional joint recommendation submitted by the two council members, Dr. Yasser Hafez, and Dr. Fahd Al-Tayyash, which the committee took in its content.
