The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Abd al-Latif Al-Sheikh, presented some of the convictions and justifications that counter the voices opposing the ministry’s recent decision to limit the use of loudspeakers in mosques to the call to prayer and the iqama.

The minister confronted the critics by stressing that decisions in the Kingdom are not issued in an “improvised” manner, but rather come within understandable and well-known channels, the first of which is God’s control in all matters, while adhering to what was stated in the Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah.

And he elaborated on explaining his justifications regarding mosque loudspeakers, during a talk devoted to him.News 24And he went on to say: β€œThe venerable scholars who have their weight and weight, and are known for taking from them, call for loudspeakers to communicate the truth and not harm anyone, and this is what the Ministry has done in terms of controlling minarets and audio devices, so that there is no harm in them to anyone. And work according to the mood, as their time has passed, and the ministry works according to what benefits people and fulfills their needs, without harm or harm.”

In the context of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Minister Al-Sheikh seemed confident of the performance of his ministry according to a disciplined process that is flawless, especially in terms of financial matters.

He was not afraid of announcing his “challenge” that “one riyal was spent in an absurd manner,” inferring that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs conducts most of its affairs in accordance with the methodology of the wise leadership, and implements its strategy with the effort of its employees, without the help of a team of advisors or institutions for promotion or praise and drumming.

Al-Sheikh had inaugurated (today, Tuesday) as the head of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s work in Hajj and Umrah.
