Press sources revealed that the Al-Ahly club’s board of directors, headed by Majid Al-Nafie, is interested in contracting coach Luis Sierra.
And the sources explained, according to “Al-Madina”, that Al-Ahly entered into negotiations with the former Chilean Al-Ittihad and Al-Tai coach, Luis Sierra.
Al-Taie decided not to renew coach Sierra’s contract, to stay in his country due to the conditions of his mother’s illness, as his compatriot Marcelo Pena, assistant coach, led the team in the last two rounds of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional League, and guaranteed him survival.
Al-Ahly was relegated to the first division for the first time in the club’s history, along with Al-Hazm and Al-Faisaly.
