The Food and Drug Authority confirmed that it is following up on withdrawal orders and warnings issued by international regulatory bodies and organizations, following Britain withdrew batches of Kinder Surprise chocolate for causing cases of food poisoning.
The authority clarified that in the event of any product being withdrawn, it will immediately verify the safety of the batches marketed to the Kingdom, take the appropriate action and circulate to health authorities or warn the public if any defect is proven.
