And Iranian television transmitted Khamenei’s speech to the crowd, inviting them to rely on the Qur’an, which calls for patience when facing difficult times.

In his speech, Khamenei said that patience means perseverance, resistance, not getting tired and not feeling that you are in a dead end, stressing the need to follow the right path and urging others to it, in a clear reference to Iran’s economic problems, as the country is subject to US sanctions.
