Today (Friday), the Ministry of Health clarified how to prevent dust, which is considered an environmental pollutant and has many damages, such as containing pollen and microbes, in conjunction with the dust wave that swept some areas in the Kingdom, including Riyadh and Qassim.
The ministry advised to close the doors and windows of homes tightly, avoid exposure to dust unless absolutely necessary, and to wear masks that filter the air, while making sure to change them frequently.
She stressed asthma patients to ensure that emergency asthma inhalers are available at home, adhere to taking preventive asthma inhalers in the event the doctor dispenses them, and go to the nearest emergency center in the event the crisis is severe and does not respond to the spray.
