For his part, the former Secretary of the Traffic Safety Committee, Engineer Sultan Al-Zahrani, explained that the parking spot in the street in front of the house is the property of the municipality, and that the behavior of the house owner to close the adjacent area was a mistake, and that the secretariats immediately removed such infringements.
He added that he once saw a house owner attacking a person who parked his car in front of his house, describing this as a mistake, especially at homes near mosques, where cars park in front of them for no more than half an hour.
Al-Zahrani stressed the need to educate community members regarding such behavior, as the street does not belong to anyone, pointing out that raising awareness of this matter for all is more important than implementing violations.
