A nutritionist, Nouf Al Abbas, revealed a wrong belief practiced by some in the matter of losing weight, which may harm human health.
And “Nouf”, during her talk on the “Al-Youm” program on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, explained that one of the most prominent of these wrong dietary practices is the people’s belief that deprivation of meals leads to faster weight loss.
And she warned that this misconception might cause the body to lose essential nutrients that need to be obtained for a healthy body.
She stressed the importance of balancing exercise and eating food that contains all the basic nutrients that provide the body with energy and needs that help it perform its basic functions.
