News 24 | 100 heads were killed..a disease that ravages the livestock of Al Yahya Mountains in Jizan, and the people are calling for help

The residents of Al Yahya villages affiliated to Al Zaidan Center in Al-Daer Governorate in Jizan complained of a disease that afflicted herds of livestock and led to the death of large numbers of them, causing losses to the people who depend heavily on their upbringing.

Jaber bin Ali al-Maliki explained to:News 24The disease is transmitted from one farm to another without knowing its causes or anything regarding it, and it appeared a month ago and killed regarding 100 sheep, which the people depend on as a main source of their livelihood.

For his part, the chief of the Yahya tribes, Sheikh Ali Jaber Al-Yahawi, said that they appeal to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to find out their suffering to know the origin and causes of the disease following it was transmitted between the villages of Al Yahya in the Al-Dayer Bani Malik governorate during the past months until now, including the villages of Al-Qaza’a and Al-Hadba.
