He said that until this Senate is completed, any kind of election will be morally and legally illegal. The role of the chairman and deputy chairman is very important. They will also be the chairman of all of us, so it cannot be. Let such an important position be sacrificed to politics, the Election Commission takes every step that creates a constitutional crisis, without specific seats, the Prime Minister, President and Chief Minister of Punjab were elected, but when it came to the senators of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the commission stopped it. Diya, the reality at this time is that no one from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is present here.

Ali Zafar said that we are making these elections controversial without Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Losing and winning is a part of politics. PTI wanted to be a part of the Senate elections, but if there is such a situation where the Senate meeting is not held as per the constitution. We cannot be a part of this, I request that the Senate session be suspended and held until elections are held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Senator Mohsin Aziz while speaking in the House said that it is a new beginning of the Senate year, protecting Pakistan is our priority, a few months ago in the same house we saw that when people left and there were 12 people, one A resolution was presented to suspend the election and it was passed, it made us laugh, we violated the oath, it is still the same situation, one province is suffering from disparity, one unit of the senate is not here. This election is not correct, there should not be an election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the Senate without their members.

He said that the elections without the representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be illegal, because of this we will hurt the people of the province. But if it is postponed today, what is wrong? If this happens, the message will go out to the whole world that these are also illegal, we should not be a part of this unconstitutional process.

Later, Prime Minister Nazir Tarar said that senators are not allowed to express their views before taking oath, PTI senators were given the opportunity to speak despite the constitutional mandate, everything is clear in Article 60, Article 60 says that the House After the formal formation, the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Senate must be elected in the first meeting.

He said that we should look into our own necks, the elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have not been postponed due to any natural calamity, the members who were elected to certain seats had to take oath, the Chief Minister had to take the oath and the Speaker had to take oath. But it did not happen, the elected members were asked to take oath by the Peshawar High Court, but the government blew it up, and the Election Commission postponed the elections due to non-swearing.

The Law Minister said that it is not possible to stop the election process, stop voting, take oath despite the court order and then ask that the elections be postponed.
