It was discovered in a plastic bag containing the placenta and umbilical cord by a 49-year-old worker in Villanova Canavese, in the province of Turin. The man wanted to throw something into the container when he heard the child screaming, Italian media reported. He alerted the police. Despite the low temperatures, the child is doing well.
Villanova Canavese is a municipality with around 1,000 inhabitants. The worker who heard the child crying lives not far from where the child was found. “At first I thought it was a cat, only after a while I realized it was one Baby “acted,” emphasized the worker. The child was taken to the hospital and is to be adopted.
