A teenager was arrested as a suspected suspect for attacking another 17-year-old youth, who was shot in the face.
The incident occurred during a confrontation in the early hours of Saturday morning in Manhattan, New York (USA), police reported.

The shooting occurred at around 2:12 a.m. According to local media, this is the second time in two days that a minor under 18 years old has been shot.
After the suspect was captured, he was initially charged with possession of a weapon, police officials said.
Authorities arrived at a building and found the victim bleeding from numerous gunshot wounds on a staircase leading to the roof. The gun was discovered near the victim.
The young man had been shot in the face and chest, officials said. Because of his condition, paramedics took him to Harlem Hospital, where he was expected to survive.
The teenager responsible for the crime escaped from the scene after committing the crime.
The motive for the crime has not yet been determined; however, police believe the shooting was due to some kind of fight at the scene, El Diario NY reports.
