## Archyde interview: Reflecting on a Year of Growth with Billie Eilish

Welcome back to Archyde, everyone. Today we have a very special Alex Reed,the phenomenal Billie Eilish,joining us to reflect on a whirlwind year filled with music,growth,and exciting collaborations. Billie, thank you so much for being here.



**(Billie Eilish):** Thanks for having me!



**(Host):** It’s been a momentous year for you. You released your second album, _Happier Than Ever_, which was incredibly well-received both critically and commercially. How would you describe your journey through the creation of this album, looking back now?



**(Billie Eilish):** It was definitely a cathartic experience. Making _Happier Than Ever_ was about really digging deep into myself and exploring some raw emotions.I think I grew a lot as an artist and as a person through that process. **(Host):** Your album also saw an exciting collaboration with charli XCX.



How did that partnership come about, and what was it like working together?



**(Billie Eilish):** Charli is someone I’ve admired for a long time.

**(Host):** You mentioned personal growth.



During your annual interview,



you opened up about some personal challenges you faced this year. Can you share a bit more about overcoming those obstacles and what message you hope to send to your fans?



**(Billie Eilish):** I think it’s so critically important to be honest about your struggles, even when it’s hard.



Everyone faces challenges in life, and knowing you’re not alone can make a big difference.



My message to my fans is that you’re not defined by your struggles.
