In the town of Riverhead, New York, a health center announced that its Mobile Mammography Unit will be open this Friday, find out how to access it.

The Mobile Mammography Unit at Stony Brook Hospital on Long Island announced where it will be stationed to provide services this Friday, August 16.

It has been announced that they will be located at the headquarters of the Guatemalan Consulate in the town of Riverhead.

Remember, the Mobile Mammography Unit for Breast Cancer Detection is 40 feet tall and offers cutting-edge 3D digital mammograms.

This time, free tests will be conducted between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the consular headquarters located at 1333 E Main Street, in Riverhead, NY 11901.

However, you should take into account that to access one of these tests, women must meet the following requirements:

• Be a woman and be 40 years of age or older.
• Not having had mammograms in the last year.
• Not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Not having implants or breast problems, such as lumps or nipple discharge.
• Not having received a diagnosis of breast cancer.
• Having seen a gynecologist, primary care physician, or internist within the last year and that professional being willing to accept the results of the examination.

You must remember not to use deodorant, perfume or talcum powder on the day of the test.

Also bring identification and your insurance card, if you have one.

Please note that those without health insurance will be processed through the New York Cancer Services Program.
