New York City has confirmed two confirmed cases of West Nile virus, the city’s health department said on the 16th.
According to the Department of Health, there was one confirmed case each from Queens and Brooklyn.
He added that 1068 West Nile virus-infected mosquitoes were found in citywide sample testing, a significant increase from 779 in the same period last year.
