Most of them dress up for the turn of the year. So does Jeff Bezos. He wore an outfit on New Year’s Eve that Twitter users are now amused about.
“You can be the richest man in the world, but there are some things you can’t buy: taste, for example,” wrote a user on Twitter, referring to the latest Instagram post from Jeff Bezos.
In it, the Amazon founder shows himself with skinny jeans in white, a patterned shirt that he unbuttoned to his navel, and heart-shaped sunglasses on his face. His girlfriend Lauren Sanchez, on the other hand, wears a glittering jumpsuit in the snapshot.
Some do not recognize the multibillionaire in the outfit. “What actually happened to Jeff Bezos?” Someone asks for example on Twitter. “Jeff Bezos is going through the Prince Marcus Transformation, it seems,” writes another. Also to read: “Why does he look like he owns five Edekas in the Ruhrpott and a snack at Malle?” Others suspect a “Bad Taste” party behind it.
“A crazy disco party”
And indeed: Jeff Bezos celebrated a New Year’s Eve party with his girlfriend in the Caribbean under the motto “Disco”. “Last night we had so much fun celebrating with a crazy disco party with the family,” he wrote about the series of pictures in which the other guests can also be seen in 80s outfits. The New Year is a great opportunity to “take stock” and focus on things like personal growth.
