New Year’s Eve: Big celebrations unfold in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi to organize grand celebrations to usher in the New Year. Events including fireworks are staged in Abu Dhabi in conjunction with the New Year.

Fireworks will be organized at various places in Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, officials said. The organizers also stated that as part of this year’s New Year celebrations, fireworks will be set off at the Sheikh Zayed Festival venue in Al Watba, Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi held three world records during last year’s New Year’s Day celebrations. Sheikh Zayed Festival 2022 in Al Watba was welcomed with a 40-minute fireworks display. All three Guinness World Records have been won by this firework.
