New Year Wishes and Reflections: Dominican Public Figures Share Their Hopes for 2024

Waiting for a year of electoral contests, new radio and television programs and artistic show agendas that have begun to be announced, some Dominican public figures are already saying goodbye to 2023 with messages and images on their social networks.

Abel Martínez and Nahiony Reyes were happy and enjoying their New Year’s holidays and sent their best wishes to their followers through a video posted on Instagram.

“Happy New Year to everyone, from the bottom of my heart,” Martínez said. While his wife expressed: “A huge hug and may it be a year of prosperity, love and a lot of family unity. We love you very much!”

For her part, Pamela Sued recalled the hectic year she had to face due to the accident suffered by her father, the veteran announcer, José Guillermo Sued, who is in Spain receiving rehabilitation therapies.

“What a great year this is. 2023 takes first place as the most difficult year of my life; without a doubt the most desperate and distressing. But not everything was sad, I see this summary and I applaud myself… I was strong, brave, I managed to put myself above the circumstances and despite the complications I lived to the fullest,” he wrote along with a video with a compilation of moments he lived during these 365 days.

In addition, the communicator was grateful to have her father alive and in clear recovery, as well as for the premiere of the autobiographical film of her father-in-law, the late artist Freddy Beras-Goico.

“This year I laughed, cried, danced, worked, traveled… I fell many times and got up many more. This year I conquered fears and fulfilled dreams. Among so many magnificent experiences lived, my favorites: I jumped with a parachute, I drove the Soberano , I did theater and we launched ‘Freddy,'” he added.

“But the real great blessing of my year is that I have my father alive and getting better every day. God, I am ready for 2024. I am ready for my best year. Decreed,” she concluded.

It is worth highlighting the characteristic and humorous phrase with which Karen Yapoort assured that the next year will be better than 2023.

“2023 You were a lot! 2024 I’m even going to give you a kiss. Start!” wrote Yapoort in a publication where he also shared some hot photographs, wearing a black bikini from the Chanel brand, while enjoying aboard his yacht in La Romana.

‘The queen of merengue’, Milly Quezada, expressed hope for 2024 and declared good wishes for her fans.

“For the one in whom my faith is placed and in his name I arrive in 2024 confident that my steps are watched and protected. I will not fear any evil because I am a daughter of the Most High Almighty God… My wishes are also for all who read this message: Blessed journey in the name of Jesus. Amen! Congratulations my people! Happy, healthy and prosperous 2024!” exclaimed the merengue singer.
