It’s hard to believe that Fire Emblem Engage coming in Januarybut Nintendo seems to be sticking with that soon-to-be release date!
More regarding Fire Emblem Engage
Nintendo is constantly showing more of the game (if only on the official Fire Emblem Japanese Twitter account). Amidst the gameplay sneak peek we’ve gotten so far, the latest clip features gameplay from a series star. New Fire Emblem Engage footage has appeared on the series’ Twitter account, giving us a better look at the hero in action. Here’s the full intro/mini-character bio from the first tweet (translated/sanitized), also revealing his Japanese voice actor: Commonly known as The Beginning Heraldry, Marth (voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa) is a noble and charismatic hero among heroes. He is the prince of the Altea Kingdom on the foreign continent of Archanea.”
We see Alex Reed characters in Engage will appear, and Marth is confirmed as the sword user in this clip. There will also be some story elements associated with the summoned heroes, including the following conversation with the main character. If the title pulls this off and manages to bring in some of the most famous characters in this series’ long history, it might lead to some explosive moments. Ideally, the team actually manages to use these portions in a balanced way. Anyway, it looks like the new game can bring us some fan service, and that’s always a good thing. What do you think?
