We’ve talked a few times here on MacMagazine regarding the mighty PDF Expertby Ukrainian developer Readdle. The program allows you to edit your documents in this format in different ways, such as taking notes, censoring specific parts of a text and adding images to them, for example.
Well now, a new version of the software brings three very welcome news to users of Apple operating systems.
Let’s go to them?! ????
Sidecar
This feature, introduced on iPads since 2019, lets you use an iPad as your Mac’s second display — helping to boost your productivity. Among the benefits of this function in PDF Expert is the possibility to mark something on the iPad using the Apple Pencil and check real-time update on Mac, as well as work with multiple PDFs.
Continuity Camera
As in Continuity Camera (Continuity Camera)you can not only use your iPhone as a webcam to display your PDF documents, but also use the iPhone/iPad camera to capture photos and insert them into the Mac app.
Apple Pencil over the screen
The resource Apple Pencil over the screen (Apple Pencil hover) is present in the latest iPad Pros, with the M2 chip. With it, the tablet can detect the digital pencil at a distance of up to 12mm from the screen to make a more precise adjustment of a writing or drawing, for example.
Nice news, don’t you think? ????
