New varieties every four months; New Kovid wave in Europe | | 1.5 Million Covid Cases Daily | outbreaks are spreading in Asia

New York: The UN warns that Kovid poses a serious threat to Europe and Asia as new variants emerge every four months. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned of a new wave of Kovid.

He reminded that it was time for governments and pharmaceutical companies to work together to deliver vaccines to all individuals everywhere. He says 1.5 million Kovid cases are being reported worldwide every day.

Kovid blasts continue in some parts of Asia. Meanwhile, a new wave is being seen across Europe. The high death toll in some countries so far is a cause for concern.

The advent of the omicron variant is an indication of how fast the diffusion capacity of the covid can be. He pointed out that while the leading nations were preparing for the second booster dose, one-third of humanity was still not getting a single vaccine.

The only question left before the world is when is the next variant. The vaccine needs to reach not only rich countries but every corner of the globe. The new variant of the omicron variant found in England appears to be more contagious than previous viruses. The XE variant (BA.1 -BA.2) was first detected in the UK on January 19.

Nationwide, the highest number of weekly cases was reported in South Korea (20,58,375 new cases; 16 percent lower), Germany (13,71,270 new cases; 13 percent lower), France (9,59,084 new cases; 13 percent higher), and Vietnam. (7,96,725 new cases; 29 percent lower), Italy (4,86,695 new cases; 3 percent lower).

As of April 3, more than 489 million cases and more than 60 million deaths have been reported worldwide so far.
