Heung-min Son and the Korean national football team took a profile picture wearing a new uniform.
This uniform will be presented in a more evolved form by reflecting the meaning of the latest technology and sustainability while being faithful to the unique culture and identity of Korea, which Nike has been the basis for designing the national team.
The home uniform of the national soccer team is inspired by the goblin who fights without fear, and the intense red color creates a clean and unified feeling.
Here, a wave pattern in the shape of a tiger’s stripes is added to the shoulder area to capture the courageous strength and spirit of the players. In addition, the graphic of the tail of the goblin, which is completed by meeting the top and bottom, expresses passion and tenacious fighting spirit.
The expedition uniform, a reinterpretation of the Korean traditional pattern Samtaeguk, which symbolizes the harmony of sky, earth, and people, expresses pride in Korea by applying minimal design elements on a black background.
The front print pattern drawn in blue, red, and yellow colors derived from the Three Taegeuk shows the Korean Wave that is spreading around the world, and is reminiscent of the tiger pattern that shows the connection with the home uniform.
