A few months earlier Gearbox announced a sequel to Tales from the Borderlandsspin-off of Borderlands released in 2014 which exposed the famous narrative formula from the late Telltale Games. So planned for this year, this second opus did not however have a precise release date, nor even a real name; information that may well have been us unveiled by Amazon.
Also, according to the product sheet leaked by the American giant, the title New Tales From the Borderlands would cling to the many wagons of this fall and will therefore be released on October 21st on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, et Switch. But Amazon is not just ahead Gearbox et 2K on the date and the platforms; the file also reveals some information about the story and the characters of the game. The bulk of the action would then take place on Prometheus — already explored in Borderlands 3 — the planet serving as the headquarters of the Atlas company. The story would be divided into 5 chaptersfeaturing new characters, but also well-known faces des fans of the series.
