The Ministry of Health of Santa Fe updated the protocol from coronavirus in force in the middle of the third wave of the pandemic. Among the changes, the incorporation of new symptoms and modifications in the isolation scheme stand out.

As specified, those with two or more of the following symptoms should be isolated and consult the health system:

  • Fever of 37.5 ° C
  • Tos
  • Throat pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Rhinitis / nasal congestion
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Diarrhea and / or vomiting
  • Or just sudden loss of taste or smell

Regarding the new isolation conditions, they clarified that those who are confirmed cases with a complete vaccination scheme must perform an isolation for seven days, plus three days of care. During this period, do not attend mass or social events, wear a chinstrap almost permanently and take extreme care when in contact with people at risk.

For its part, positives not vaccinated or with incomplete scheme must comply with 10 days of isolation without exception.

Asymptomatic close contacts with a complete initial vaccination schedule should be isolated for five days, plus five days of care. Health personnel and other workers in contact with populations at risk may undergo a diagnostic test on the fifth day.

Those who are not inoculated or have completed the scheme should perform 10 days of isolation.oo isolation for 7 days plus a diagnostic test to which is added three days of care.

Regarding the confirmed cases, they reiterated that Cohabitants of a laboratory-confirmed case with two or more symptoms will be considered positive.

The health portfolio also noted that a complete vaccination scheme is considered when the two doses have been applied respecting the minimum interval (Astrazeneca and Moderna, 28 days, and Sputnik, Sinopharm and Pfizer, 21 days) and 14 days have passed since the last application. In the case of the third doses, they will be applied with a minimum interval of 4 months from the application of the second.

Finally, they recalled the current protocol for study tours. Those who return will have to spend seven days isolated at home with their partners. It is not necessary to perform an RT-PCR test on day 5 to 7 of arrival in asymptomatic people. If the patients are close contacts of covid cases, they must carry out the corresponding confinement.

In Rosario they can be tested in the testing centers provided by the provincial government all those who have previous shift. The following points are currently in operation:

  • Provincial Hospital (Alem 1450). Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Eva Perón Hospital (San Martín 1645, Granadero Baigorria). Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Premises of the former Battalion 121 (Lamadrid and Ayacucho). Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
