The Federal Debt Agency will offer a new one-year State bond from September 4, it announced on Tuesday. On August 22, 2023, the coupon of this government bond will be determined.
Via the placing institutions, the subscription period will run from Thursday August 24, 2023 to Friday September 1, 2023 inclusive. Subscription is possible from Thursday August 24, 2023 to Thursday August 31, 2023 (the Agency must receive the funds no later than September 1, 2023).
In order to further increase the yield of the State note, the withholding tax might be reduced from 30 to 15%. In addition, the issue of one-year bonds might be repeated in December, according to the newspaper l’Écho. The March campaign for the state bond raised 262.3 million euros, the highest amount since December 2011.
