The new Spark has been with us for some time, but the company released it now on the Mac App Store. In addition to bringing a revamped look, it also has the new +AI Templateswhich allow you to draft emails using language models and artificial intelligence.

Recaping the news, the new Spark has an inbox that is displayed more widely on the screen, with a horizontal list of new senders to be accepted or blocked. There is also an option on the left side of the most recent emails to mark them as done and/or archive them. Notifications and news emails are concentrated in specific tabs, just like in Gmail.

On the right side, there are options for the different tabs of the app, which includes a home screen. It shows a suggested time to open the inbox, as well as shortcuts to specific resources and a preview of incoming emails. The idea of the interface is to make the user experience more efficient, allowing users to be able to adapt it to their workflow.

+AI Templates, in turn, are a kind of extension of the +AI resource, which uses artificial intelligence to compose emails. With the new feature, one can create patterns of frequently sent emails using AI, including common information for the templates to be reused, just modifying the different data from context, recipient and the like. This insertion is done automatically by the app, just select the template when sending an email.

Thus, it is possible to save a lot of time sending similar emails, also being able to save the templates in several devices and share with team members. When sending several emails from a selection process or answering messages in a similar way, for example, it will not be necessary to copy and paste the same text several times. The feature, however, requires a Premium subscription.

In the free version, functions such as marking emails as completed or leaving them aside are included, as well as the Command Center. With a Spark Premium subscription (which costs BRL 41 per month or BRL 310 per yearcom 7 days free trial) you also have access to functions such as blocking unwanted senders, setting priority contacts and summarizing emails with AI.

It is noteworthy that the old app will still exist, with the name Spark Classic including because features like the shared inbox are yet to be implemented in the new app. The idea, then, is for all users to gradually migrate to the latest app.

The other features available are the same as the previous app, including synchronization between different devices. Premium features, from now on, will only work on new software.
