New single Problems with Houston?!

A brawl to the sound of music

The band Twik releases its new single “Problems with Houston?!”, available from September 20, 2024 on digital stores and on national promotional radio stations.

Starting from the famous phrase “Houston, we have a problem”, the Twiks imagine the personification of this character: it is a frail man, with glasses, a green checked shirt and brown pants. Anyone who has a problem turns to him, who always goes out of his way to help others, without ever asking for anything in return. However, some subjects do not seem to appreciate this extraordinary ability and gang up on him. What happens, at this point, when Houston himself has a problem? Two factions are created in the Gran Canyon: those who want to kill him and those who, instead, want to reciprocate the precious help, save him.

Thus, Twik describe the birth of their new song, full of reflections and ironywhich questions extremely current issues.

Band History

Twik was born from the collaboration between Vincenzo “Vik” Di Santo (drums, vocals) and Laura “Twelle” Morelli (vocals), who during the lockdown began to create music remotely. From this experiment an ambitious project was born, characterized by the free flow of ideas and genres musical like rock, popalternative, hip hop and electronic. The band finally took shape in 2023, with the entry of Philip Mary Di Nardo on guitar and Lorenzo Marcozzi on electric bass. They move between catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics and a combination of innovative sounds, as demonstrated by the two intense years of work on the singles already released: “Gerard Kremer” (June ’23), “Let Me Fly” (September ’23), “Blah blah blah (Oceani)” (November ’23), “Indecifrabile” (December ’23) and “Il vero me” (April ’24). Currently in national promotion with the new single “Problemi con Houston” which will kick off the official release of their first album.
