New signing revealed: Is LASK hitting the transfer market again?

LASK has already added Valon Berisha and Lucas Copado to the transfer market this winter – will all good things come in threes? Weeks ago it was reported that LASK was said to have kept an eye on the North Macedonian right-back Metodi Maksimov. The 21-year-old is considered one of his country’s greatest defensive talents.

The consulting agency “Soccer11” of all places might have already revealed the change in advance, because: A picture of Maksimov was posted on the agency’s Instagram page as he was regarding to sign a contract in the premises of the Linz Raiffeisen Arena. The image has now been put offline once more.

Maksimov, who currently plays for the North Macedonian title contender Shkendija Tetovo, is a right-back who has all the prerequisites for the intensive game in a three-man chain. At Shkendija this season he also played more often on the left side of defense and also in the two more offensive wing positions. The winger has already made 42 appearances for North Macedonia’s youth national teams.
