What to Know

A new roller coaster is on the rise at Universal Studios Hollywood. The theme park made the announcement on July 12, 2023. Home to the new Super Nintendo World, the theme park is also known for its Fall Fright festival, Halloween Horror Nights.

We are less likely to utter “brrrum brrrum” while enjoying a roller coaster than the buzzing “whoosh whoosh”, because “brrrum” means, in many minds at least, the speed of a car while “whoosh”, what might possibly mean? ?

That’s a more airy term, one that’s speedily cruising along the tracks of a roller coaster high in the sky.

But someone may need to come up with a combination of those particular terms—perhaps “brrrum whoosh” would work better—to properly greet the fast-paced attraction to come at Universal Studios Hollywood.

The official spokesman for Universal Studios Hollywood Raul B. Llamas welcomed us to tell us what we are going to see in this new world of Super Nintendo.

And it’s a true car ride and roller coaster, brrrum-whoosh experience that’s now on the rise, officially, starting Wednesday, July 12.

That’s when Universal City theme park went full throttle and made an announcement sure to thrill fans of the “Fast & Furious” movies: A new roller coaster, one that’s inspired by the peel-off world of the movies, is on the way. on his way brrrum-whoosh.

“Buckle up,” the park advises, as the future attraction will feature a “state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to immerse guests in the dynamic ‘Fast & Furious’ universe.”

The “…all-new roller coaster will draw on Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades of experience to revolutionize contemporary roller coaster development at its global theme park destinations,” shares the park team.

While there are still many more details to come regarding the speed vehicle adventure, with renderings to be implemented at a later date, the future attraction will rise on the location previously occupied by the Animal Actors and Special Effects Show.
