New restriction for trucks on Route 23, in the Río Negro Mountain Range

National Highway reported this Saturday that it restricts the movement of trucks and buses on National Route 23between Dina Huapi and Pilcaniyeu, due to the accumulation of mud.

The part, which was released following noon, was still in force until tonight and contemplated the section of the national highway that goes from Pilcaniyeu to a few kilometers east of Barilochein the Andean zone of Río Negro.

“Due to intense rains and the accumulation of mud in the diversions of work, The vehicle restriction for trucks and buses continues on National Route 23 between Pilcaniyeu and Dina Huapi. In addition, it is recalled that the carrying of chains is mandatory,” reported Vialidad.

National Highway asks people who travel Route 23 “to circulate with extreme caution and pay special attention» to irregular deviations in work areasthe transitions between asphalt and gravel, and the presence of tight curves.

The rest of the route of Route 23 through the South Region of Río Negro is passable with caution.

In the Route 1s40 the restrictions for trucks are maintained and simple traction vehicles, from Alicurá to the junction with Route 23 and it is impassable from Route 6 to 23.

Meanwhile, National Route 40 between Bariloche and El Bolsón, this Saturday is passable with caution because the road is wet. Rainfall is recorded in the Andean zone.
