The national director of public health, Dr. Luc Boileau, announced new recommendations regarding vaccination once morest COVID-19. He now invites only vulnerable people and those who have never contracted the virus to get a booster dose. Pediatrician and microbiologist-infectiologist Caroline Quach-Thanh explains that hybrid immunity, i.e. two doses of vaccine and infection with the virus, adequately protects people, which justifies this update of the recommendations.
