From Friday to Sunday, two sections of Chapaev Street – from Rashpilevskaya to Krasnaya and from Krasnaya to Krasnoarmeyskaya – will be pedestrian.
– The renovated street must be made pedestrian and used to good use. And to plan a program of activities in advance – the events should be interesting, including for young people, – Mayor Yevgeny Naumov commented.
Improvement has already been completed on sections of the street, fences have been installed so that violators cannot park on the sidewalks.
Motorists will be able to bypass sections of Chapaev blocked on weekends along neighboring streets. Appropriate road signs will be installed there in the near future.
As previously reported, from May 23, travel along the renovated street named following. Chapaev in the center of Krasnodar. Here the pedestrian zone was expanded, tiles and curbs were replaced, and parking spaces were created.
Recall that traffic on Chapaev Street was reorganized in May 2021. Then, on the section from Rashpilevskaya to Krasnoarmeyskaya, one-way traffic was introduced and bike paths were made.
After that, violations of the rules of parking and stopping transport were constantly recorded here. Drivers “abandoned” their cars, including on bike paths. In addition, the bike paths were often flooded following heavy rains.
