According to Margie, the new Outlook for Windows app is now available for personal accounts in the Windows 11 Microsoft Store. Furthermore, it was said that in the optional operating system update that will be made available on September 26th, the new Outlook app will be installed automatically.

It is important to make it clear that the new Outlook for Windows application is free. It is possible to connect several email accounts in addition to Microsoft’s own email service, such as Gmail and Yahoo accounts. There is the option to view dark and light themes, AI (artificial intelligence) assistance for writing emails, mechanisms to facilitate secure attachment of documents and photos and more.

Within the application, it is still possible to access the web version of Office, which is free. There you can edit and create documents with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, for example. Plus, you can access your OneDrive files without leaving the “new Outlook for Windows”.
