Premarital savings is a savings plan where a small amount of money could be contributed each year. Payments – between 18 and 48 euros – were made once a year, between the beneficiary’s 14th and 26th birthday. When the person concerned married, submitted a declaration of legal cohabitation to the municipality or reached the age of 30, he/she received the saved capital as well as the interest.
