Riyadh: The Ministry of Energy has announced that new oil and gas reserves have been discovered in Saudi Arabia. New oil fields were discovered in the Eastern Province, where the national oil company Saudi Aramco is headquartered. The ministry also informed that the expedition is continuing in this area.

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz released the information regarding this. The minister said that new oil fields have also been discovered in the exploration of the national oil company Saudi Aramco. Newly discovered fields contain natural gas reserves along with crude oil reserves.

They are located in the Rubuhulkhali Desert of the Eastern Province and in various areas of Dhahran. Wells have been discovered here that can produce thirty million cubic feet of crude oil per day. And 3.1 million cubic feet of natural gas reserves are also located here, the minister said.

New fields have also been discovered in Alhairan, Almahakiq, Azrika, Shadoon, Masaligh and Alwadihi areas. The minister also stated that Saudi Aramco’s expedition to determine the size and quantity of newly discovered oil fields is continuing.
