Even more games – criticism of the new tournament

The new tournament provokes a lot of criticism from fans and experts in advance.

The already bloated schedule of 82 regular-season games per team will be even more lavish with the in-season tournament.

“An unnecessary NBA tournament in the middle of the most important part of the NFL and college football season,” commented Twitter user Bryce Hayes.

“This NBA tournament is so outrageous and stupid,” Mason Voth said.

And Glenn Clark tweeted: “The funniest thing regarding it is they make exactly the same stupid mistake they make wrestling with the tournaments: It means nothing at all. They might AT LEAST win a playoff berth. Or home advantage in the 1st round. At least then this stupid, meaningless tournament would have some value.”
