Another will be inaugurated on Tuesday, December 26, in Auxonne (Côte-d’Or), bringing the number of brands to 1,560 nationwide. Only one metropolitan region, Corsica, is spared from this frenetic development, which began in 1979 in Strasbourg. The island is an exception, with Quick, Burger King, KFC and Steak ‘n Shake doing business there for almost twenty years.
Every day in France, 2 million customers taste the menus offered by the most famous fast food chain. Corsica does not contribute to these statistics, and for good reason.
