Public radio announced Monday evening June 27 the names of the three columnists who will officiate on the 5-6 p.m. box instead of the irreverent Belgian. No more “political satire”, place for “an anti-politically correct tone”.

This is the first back-to-school schedule for director Adèle Van Reeth. France Inter has recruited three women to replace Charline Vanhoenacker on the daily 5-6 p.m. slot. They are the editorial director of Konbini Marie Misset, the sex columnist Maïa Mazaurette and the comedian Marine Baousson, announced Monday evening June 27 the director of public radio at Parisian.

“Every day in the studio, they will receive for an hour an artist or an intellectual, who defends a vision of the world through his work. Together, they will tackle head-on the questions that annoy, mixing the intimate, the humor and the burning news”, detailed Adèle Van Reeth on a daily basis.

An unnamed show

France Inter had denied any political pressure and assured that “the tone of the show will not change”: “It is the characteristic of France Inter to be a space where political satire is expressed.” Adèle Van Reeth however explained to the Parisian on Monday that there will be no more “political satire” at that time, but “an anti-politically correct tone”.

The new show, whose name has not yet been chosen, will replace that of the “Belgians” band led by Charline Vanhoenacker for 10 seasons, with 1.25 million listeners, and now only broadcast on Sundays. “It wouldn’t have occurred to me to go to weekly […]it was a proposal that was made to me, we will adapt”, had regretted the host in mid-May, following losing her daily morning ticket last year.

In addition, Matthieu Noël, another comedian from France Inter, refused to take the place of Charline Vanhoenacker’s box, according to The Parisian. The station’s management was considering moving its daily show, which airs at 4 p.m., back an hour. “Matthieu does not want to pass for the traitor, the one who steals Charline’s place every year,” one of his acquaintances told the daily. The Swiss comedian had already replaced him since the start of the school year for the 7:57 a.m. comedy ticket.

Sex, scholarship and outspokenness

Before directing the editorial staff of the online media Konbini since September 2021, Marie Misset officiated for several years on Radio Nova, in particular in the morning of Edouard Baer.

Author of Getting Out of the Hole, Lifting Your Head in 2019 and Vulva, Verge and Vibro in 2021, Maïa Mazaurette has made a specialty of talking regarding sex by mixing erudition and outspokenness in the Daily show. on TMC and the Soundtrack on France Inter

At the origin of the popularization podcast Vulgaire launched in 2020, Marine Baousson was already a columnist on France Inter.

Update: at 10:09 a.m., with the addition of Matthieu Noël’s decision.
