New left turn lane from L 4 to Schönfeld-Lassee train station

The renovation project of National Highway L 3022 has also been completed

St. Polten(OTS/NLK) Work on the left turn lane to Schönfeld-Lassee train station has been completed: For road users turning from the L 4 state road onto the L 3022 state road, traffic safety entering the Schönfeld-Lassee train station has been ensured by the construction of the new left turn Lanes are added. The average daily traffic volume of the L4 national highway in the area is regarding 3,000 vehicles.

The work was carried out by the Groß-Enzersdorf road maintenance department with the participation of construction and transport companies for approximately three months. The total construction cost is approximately 270,000 euros, of which approximately 160,000 euros are borne by the state of Lower Austria and approximately 110,000 euros by the market town of Lasse.

Work has also been completed on the L 3022 state road, in particular the access to the Schönfeld-Lassee train station (approximately 420 m in total length) and the L 4 state road to the north of the railway underpass (approximately 570 m in total length). In addition, road renewal work has also begun on a 500-meter-long road on the L 3008 national road in front of the southern town of Lassee. It is expected to be completed in mid-August. The renovation cost of the three roads is approximately 420,000 euros, all of which is borne by Lower Austria.
