The landscape regarding fines is going to change radically, according to the revised Road Traffic Code, which in the next few days is expected to be put to public consultation for 2 months before its final promotion for a vote in Parliament.
Among other things, in the revised KOK, certain violations will result in the removal of license plates and vehicle licenses as well as the removal of the license. For the rest of the violations, the penalty is a fine.
Among the offenses that will be revoked along with the license, license and plates are drink driving, running a red light, not having a MOT, illegal use of the LEA and speeding.
