New Israeli raids in the West Bank and clashes in Nablus and Hebron

Palestine – Israeli forces stormed the city of Ramallah in the central West Bank at dawn on Thursday, and a number of surrounding towns. They also raided the city of Halhul in Hebron, where clashes took place with Palestinian gunmen.

Fires broke out in agricultural lands in Halhul as a result of Israeli forces firing sound bombs in the area.

In Nablus, Israeli forces sent military reinforcements accompanied by a bulldozer to storm the city from the Awarta checkpoint, where clashes took place in the Maajin area.

Israeli forces also stormed Balata camp in Nablus, raided a number of homes, and arrested the young man, Raed Awad, following raiding his home in the Nablus camp and severely beating him.

They also arrested both Abdul Rahman Kaabi following raiding his home in the village of Rojib, east of Nablus, and Bassam Salama following raiding his home in the Fatayer area of ​​Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a 13-year-old child and a 23-year-old man were injured when Israeli forces assaulted them during the raid on Balata camp.

For its part, groups from the factions movement said that they confronted the Israeli forces during the storming of the city of Nablus in the western axis in the Maajin area and the vicinity of the Ein Beit Al-Ma camp and the eastern axis in the Balata camp and its vicinity with bullets and locally made explosive devices.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the city of Ramallah and arrested Ammar Ali al-Wahidi and his son Yahya during a raid on the al-Tira neighborhood. The forces also stormed the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.

The Palestinian news agency, Wafa, reported that an Israeli army force stormed the center of Al-Bireh and the neighborhoods of Jabal al-Tawil and Saht Marhaba in the city, without any arrests being reported.
