New iPhone update: New anti-theft tool

Apple The new iPhone iOS 17.3 Update has been issued, in which a dangerous type of theft has been broken.

In recent months, there have been reports that thieves iPhone They see them entering the passcode and then steal their phone.

These passcodes give a lot of access inside the phone—including changing the password on the owner’s iCloud account.

Once this is done, the hacker has access to the iPhone owner’s entire digital life, including seeing any other passwords and being able to use their payments.

Since the password is changed, there is no way for the iPhone owner to get back those accounts or their phone.

However, now Apple has introduced a new feature called ‘Stolen Device Protection’. It aims to prevent this attack from being used by making it harder for thieves to use passcodes to take over people’s digital lives.

This requires people to use Face ID or Touch ID to make certain changes on the phone, such as viewing passwords or credit cards.

In an effort to ensure that only the original person unlocks it, it cannot be unlocked by any other means, such as a passcode or even a phone password.

Other actions involve even more security. For example, to change the password on the owner’s Apple ID, users have to wait an extra hour and verify their face one more time.

This security delay is intended to give people enough time to mark their device as lost and secure their account.

People whose phone has been stolen will apparently not be able to access Find My. But this can be done from another device that is logged in, or through someone else’s phone.

If the phone is in a known location – such as a person’s home or workplace – those features will not be enabled. Users can just use their passcode as usual.

The feature will have to be turned on manually. To do this, go to Settings, choose Face ID and passcode, and then turn the feature on or off.

Some settings like turning on the location services option to track important places are also required for this to work. Apple recommends turning off the phone when it’s sold or given away.

iOS 17.3 also has a number of other features, including shared Apple Music playlists, and the option to offer AirPlay for hotels. It can be downloaded from the Settings app.
