But we had the right to some additional information thanks to an interview with Xbox Wire.
A legacy on the red planet
Deliver Us Mars will take place 10 years following the events of Deliver us The Moon. We will discover a new character as well as a robot well known to players. The Earth’s resources being limited, humanity must go ever further into space to find new forms of energy. More elements will be revealed in the coming months regarding the story, the theme of which is important for the developers. This can be enjoyed without having played the first opus, but players who have finished Deliver us The Moon will find well-known characters and some narrative elements. The motion-capture cutscenes should be spectacular according to the studio.
Gameplay updates
The teams did not wish to rest on their laurels and decided to improve the gameplay since Deliver us The Moon. New mechanics are appearing in addition to the puzzles of the original game. For example, it will be possible to climb elements which will help to navigate the desolate lands of Mars. Other mechanics will be revealed later.
