News in the Viennese theaters

Hot tip this December: Save energy costs by going to the theater in the evening! Concert highlights in December

After a quiet November, the controls in the city’s concert halls are once once more being cranked to the limit. Already in the first days of the month honored us Simply Red (2.12), Bryan Adams & Anastacia (3.12.) as well Nightwish (4.12.).

And it continues in a variety of ways: Am December 8th comes rapper Little Simz into the gasometer, am 10.12. serve Billy Talent their audience a large portion of nostalgia also in the gasometer.

Towards the end of the month, film fans can then listen to the music from the films Ennio Morricones (20.12., Stadthalle) listen.

New exhibitions in Vienna

That Belvedere celebrates itself – and rightly so, because the royal summer residence can look back on 300 years of history. The title of the new show is therefore as simple as it is aptly chosen: “The Belvedere: 300 years place of art”.

In keeping with the festive season, opened at the MAK “The Fest – Between Representation and Riot”a show that deals with the highlights of everyday culture.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the death of Franz Weston December 3rd his sculpture was inaugurated in the third district, where some of his studios were located.
