We are still reminiscing about the beginning of July. The Australian musician Angie McMahon a concert presented by us in the home port and just one day later follows up with an unforgettable Flux On Top session. On both evenings she presents her album Light, Dark, Light Again – and is now delivering more. The EP will be released on 13 September Light Sides. It contains songs that were created at the same time as the album – including the new single Untangling.

The career that beabadoobee since 2020 is running like clockwork. Only the viral hit death bed followed by a bunch of award nominations and support tours for Taylor Swift, for example. Now the Brit with Filipino roots is releasing her third album This Is How Tomorrow Moves – just our album of the week. Her single Beaches You can now hear it on FluxFM. On December 3rd, beabadoobee will be playing at the Columbiahalle. FluxFM is giving away guest list spots!

Fontaines D.C. – Here’s The Thing

DC Fountains always deliver. After the band released their new song Favorite unusually nostalgic and with soft indie sounds, the third and latest single Here’s The Thing again with their usual hard edge. The fourth album will be released on August 23rd Romancewhich will probably become a clear Album of the Year favorite.

If you are not careful, Cupid’s arrow will pierce your heart. July Guildwho portrayed the rosy emotional chaos in her song Why actually? And just like being in love, the track also comes with a lot of oomph. The Berlin songwriter swaps the acoustic guitar and piano sounds of the first two EPs for drums and electric guitar for the new track. It sounds great and we’re looking forward to more!

Everything in life has an end. The Indonesian songwriter knows this too NIKIwho in their single Blue Moon sings about an important relationship that is slowly but inexorably coming to an end. The single, stylishly produced with strings, is part of her new album Buzzwhich was released on August 9th.

Fans of the musician Niall Galvin aka Only Real have it really not easy. After his debut album Jerk At The End Of The Line from 2015, he is withdrawing for the time being and devoting himself to composing for film and advertising. But now, nine years later, the Londoner is returning with his new single Good Morning An album, an EP or further singles have not yet been announced, but one can hope that this is just the start of a wonderful comeback.

Play between August 14th and September 1st The Killers in Las Vegas a total of ten shows, where they released their album Hot Fuss will play in full length – because the record with the classic Mr. Brightside is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. As the cherry on top, the band around frontman Brandon Flowers is delivering a new single: Bright Lights. You can hear it now on FluxFM.
